The division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology deals with pregnancy, childbirth and treatment of diseases that affects the female reproductive system. The division ensures quality care for women with gynaecological malignancies, genetic consultations, infectious diseases and other problems related to women’s health. Obstetrics is mainly concerned with prenatal services and delivery whereas gynaecology provides treatments and services for a comprehensive range of gynaecological problems.

2. Gynecology

Offering a full scope of services from annual preventive, well women exams to complex medical and surgical care of women during their reproductive and post reproductive years. Additionally, we care for young women concerned with irregular cycles, contraceptive technology, and stress appropriate, preventive gynecologic care

3. Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) - Obstetrics

Providing the highest quality care for women experiencing both normal and complicated pregnancies in a collaborative setting with our colleagues in multiple other disciplines including pediatrics, cardiology, surgery and anesthesia.

4. Gynecologic Oncology

Nationally recognized expertise to diagnose and treat every stage and subtype of gynecologic cancer. We provide access to promising therapies available.

Treatment & Diagnosis

Ultrasound (sonography)
A diagnostic technique which uses high-frequency sound waves to create an image of internal organs.
Biopsy
The removal of sample of cells or tissue via a hollow needle or scalpel to discover the presence, cause, or extent of a disease.
D &C (dilation and curettage)
A procedure in which the cervix is dilated so that the cervical canal and uterine lining can be scraped to remove abnormal tissues.
Curettage
The use of a spoon-shaped instrument called a curette to remove tissue for evaluation.
