We are experts in the design and manufacture of precision rubber mouldings, rubber components and post moulding operations.
Rubber molding is a manufacturing process used to shape uncured rubber into durable and versatile parts. This process involves placing, pressing, or injecting the rubber material into a heated mold cavity, where it undergoes curing or vulcanization to attain the desired shape and properties.
There are three main types of rubber molding:
1. **Injection Molding**: In this method, rubber is injected into the mold under high pressure, making it ideal for high-volume production.
2. **Compression Molding**: Here, rubber is placed into a heated mold and then compressed to form the desired shape. This method is suitable for larger and simpler parts.
3. **Transfer Molding**: This technique involves transferring rubber from a chamber into the mold, combining elements of both injection and compression molding.
