Alan Tudyk was born on 16th March 1971, and he is an American actor . Among his notable film roles are the film 28 Days in 2000, the medieval adventure A Knight's Tale in 2001, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story in 2004, and voicing Sonny in I, Robot in 2004. He also appeared in 3:10 to Yuma in 2007 and led the black comedy horror film Tucker & Dale vs. Evil in 2010. Tudyk has also been featured in Transformers: Dark of the Moon in 2011, the biographical film 42 in 2013, the sci-fi sequel Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials in 2015, and Trumbo in 2015. Since 2012, he has lent his voice to characters in every Walt Disney Animation Studios film . Tudyk is also known for his television roles portraying Wash in the cult-favorite space Western Firefly from 2002 to 2003. Despite its short run, the show became a beloved cult classic. Tudyk returned to this role in the 2005 continuation film Serenity, which expanded upon the series .
